Description

Outlawed by the ruthless Lionstone XIV, Owen Deathstalker is left with no allies, as even his oldest companions turn against him for the promise of fortune. Just as he is sure his life is coming to an imminent close, out of the sky falls Hazel d'Ark. The fellow outlaws escape together to Mistworld, not knowing what their next move will be. Meanwhile, Lionstone XIV, not the least bit unnerved by the new alien species threatening the Empire, continues to execute traitors in the terrifying and murderous fashion she is reputed for.

Reviews

AudioFile Magazine...
This multi-cast recording adds sound effects and music to Simon R. Green's science fiction adventure novel of a space empire and rebellion. The main character, Owen Deathstalker, quickly finds he has more enemies than friends. One actor performs the narration, with others dramatically performing dialogue. The narrator is particularly excellent. The sound effects are sharp and clean, and, along with the music, are enhancements to the production. Green's Deathstalker series is split into five parts; this is Part One, with subsequent installments to be released monthly. S.D. (c) AudioFile 2002, Portland, Maine
